The one at Olympic Park should be Goldman's voice in 44kHz 16bit stereo
waveform. It's only the crappy speakers at the other stations (or maybe the
computer volume turned too high) that distorts his voice.

If you listen at Strathfield platform 6 where they have pretty good
speakers, Goldman's voice would sound pretty close to the one at Olympic
Park. Also the environment itself that his voice is played would affect how
it sounds. In places where the announcements are surrounded by walls, his
voice will generally be much deeper, ceterus paribus. At places like Burwood
where the speakers are crap in the first place, and secondly where it's an
open area, he sounds completely different.

Listen around Olympic Park if you get the chance. Remember Goldman was
awarded the contract to do the Olympics voice-overs, so you could compare it
with the announcements at the station (as of yesterday, still was not
converted to the female voice).
