The 4D (as it is known) would have been returning to the Layby Sidings
at Spencer Street to have a rest after taking all the school kids to
school. (Sorry, I was just remembering once the driver said they train
was terminating at Flinders Street and then running special to the yards
to have a rest as it had been working hard all day, and this was at
8:30am, poor train)
