The endeavour railcars aren't meant to go down there. The airport tunnel
is theoretically run by electrics only. On the odd occassion that
something goes wrong, the endeavour diesels get diverted into the
tunnel. It's a bloody waste of money to put an automated system that
would only be used once in a blue moon.
