Re: Photo opportunities in and around Sydney



As mentioned in other posts, the Hunter Valley (Maitland and East
Maitland), Zig Zag and Milson's Pt are good places to go.

If you like, you can try Sydney Terminal (Platforms 1-4) for the
CountryLink trains, the Indian Pacific and Ghan.

Stations with curved platforms are good (Parramatta for example), as are
Heritage Stations with nice old sandstone buildings (Mt. Victoria).

Check out http://www.cityrail.nsw.gov.au  It has a links section and
some general info on trains. If you are travelling on a weekend, you
should check out the trackwork schedule.
