[Qld] Moreton Mill

On a visit to the mill on Friday, 11th August the following locomotives were
noted at the loco shed:
MORETON    Clyde DHI-71     0-6-0DH
BLI BLI            EMBaldwin        0-6-0DH
PETRIE           EMBaldwin       0-6-0DH
DUNETHIN    ComEng             0-6-0DH
JAMAICA       ComEng             0-6-0DH
MAROOCHY  EMBaldwin        0-4-0DH
VALDORA      EMBaldwin        0-4-0DH
JOE                Malcolm Moore    4wDM
No.5                Bundaberg Fowler 0-6-2T    In steam - on loan from
ANGRMS

Since the mill was not crushing almost all the diesel locos were on shed,
missing were COOLUM EMBaldwin B-B DH and JIMPY Malcolm Moore 4wDM. It was
unusual however, to see MAROOCHY/VALDORA at the mill as the are normally
kept at the River Depot.
There was plenty of concern being shown by mill staff as representatives of
the new owners from Belgium were expected for a visit (and perhaps bearing
the results of future directions), next Tuesday.
