[NSW] Resignalling - Beverly Hills to Turrella

I notice that many new signals are being installed between Beverly Hills and
Turrella (including the off-side repeater on the up at Bexley North).
Essentially the existing signals are being replaced with new signals in
largely identical locations.

Is this to allow the removal of the existing signalling cable in
anticipation of earthworks for the two extra tracks?

Any projected date on the completion of the resignalling of the existing
lines?
