here are some train movements around Gladstone and Rockhampton

17/04/00 monday

3547 + 3406 puused at the north end of Mt Larcom yard with a down empty coal
train with 3613 + 3618 midtrain 9.10am

3508 + 3510 with a empty down coal train leaving the north coast line at
Rocklands and head west with two unidentified units mid train 3.54pm

3546 + 3611 and two unidentified units on a down empty coal train stoped at
Bajool this forced the two following down trains to stop as well to allow an
up freight consisting of 3909 with 19 tank wagons and 10 empty rail flats to
overtake a diesel hauled up coal train by traveling wrong road north of
Bajool the down goods then crossed over to the up line and passed the train
headed by 3546 at 5.15pm

the two following down trains were 3925 with 37 mixed wagons with about 12
bulk molasas tanks at the front it departed about 10 minutes after the coal
train and was then followed by 2123 in original livery + 2110D with a guard
van 18 loaded container flats and a guards van at the rear I can only assume
that the vans are used as a safety buffer for the crew in case of an
accident 5.30 pm

the up diesel coal train met the diesel just north of Marmor at the 600km
post the coal train was headed by 2209 + 2157 in original livery + 2156 +
2178F with 83 coal wagons in tow what a sight

cheers
