Many thanks for the ultra quick posting of these pics, well done.
Now for some questions:
What are those circus painted cars behind the R? To add to the
unprototypical look I think they should have had the Santa Fe S class
banking the rear of the BG train.
The 38's looked good, (headboard is only a slight annoyance, nothing that
Photoshop can't fix) consist looked "normal" i.e., not like a circus train.
Was the Aurora ever steam hauled in NSW?
Steamrail should hang their heads in shame at the appearance of the BG
train, what a pity.
Would like to see Seymour take over all BG preservation in Victoria, I bet
the Seymour pres group had a good laugh as the BG train went past!
