Try going to the aus.rail archives for March
http://www.railpage.org.au/ausrail/00march/threads.html
and once there do a search from your browser menu (Edit > Find - in IE...
don't ask me about Netscape) for "simulation" and you will be able to find
the postings you are looking for.
