No. At least three occasions I've seen the 7:44 all stops from
hurstville depart on time when the 7:39 & 7:41 express trains are
running approximately 5 minutes late. On one occasion the 7:39 cm behind
the 7:44 which further delayed the 7:39. On another the 7:39 was pushed
onto the main illawarra (it belongs on the local line) and caused the
7:41 to be further delayed. The 7:44 is never delayed even by a minute
for a late running 7:39 fast train.

On another occasion due to some failure previously five trains came
within ten minutes all pushed behind an all stops train on the main
line. We got Green over red from carlton thru to the city. Not one train
used the local line which was free.
