Re: Railways missing from the Easter Show
The models are probably sitting along with other liberated relics (like 82 class
builders plates) in some SRA or former SRA employees home. I rekon the cops
would have a field day if they raided some of these employees homes. Although we
must remember that some have acquired railway stuff legally.
Back to the Easter show, I remember when they had a 12 class, 80 class, XPT
power car, and double deck car at the show during one year. I think Wran was in
power back then, and a election was coming up. But I don't thnk nowdays the bean
counters at the SRA would allow it.
