Prime Minister Howard grew up in Canterbury, Sydney and would have been
a regular user of the Sydney trams.

There is no doubt that Australian and New Zealand politicans and
government "experts" could learn a lot about effecient and effective
public transport from the French.

And French trams are "sexy" as well as being world's best practice in
public transport.
