Noted today:
* R31 lost 2 cars to run as 4 cars, saw in the morning at around 7.30am going to Richmond (at
Burwood) and also at 3.30pm in the arvo heading to Hornsby (at Beecroft)
* a few more K sets losing 2 cars (one example is K79, formerly K19 (can be seen as having the "1"
being changed to a "7")), to run as C-T-C-T-T-C (6 car K sets). Also K3 was attached to another
4-car K set last Friday to run as 6 cars (C-T-T-C-D-C)
Would these two examples above mean that the trains *may* run more "on-time" if time wasn't wasted
waiting for the "missing" carriages to be recoupled at maintenance centres?
