Train required for NSW regional tour

I've contacted a couple of groups individually, but now I'm prepared to
throw this open to any offers.

This is a call for expressions of interest to provide a promotional tour
train to run around regional NSW in 2001. This will include most branch
lines in NSW and Brisbane. Victoria and South Australia will be considered
subject to the successful outcome and cost effectiveness of the NSW tour.
These areas would be covered in regional tours of 10-14 days each with a
break of 2-4 weeks in between. Tours may commence from either Sydney or
Canberra, but rollingstock may be provided from elsewhere provided the
cost of empty running is not excessive.

The accomodation requirements would be:
- sleeping berths for 4-8 people
- shower(s)
- kitchen
- lounge or saloon to be used as office space (240V outlets are essential)

A single car meeting all these requirements would be preferred, but two
cars would be acceptable if necessary, subject to cost.

A separate power van is acceptable if necessary. Access from other cars to
the luggage space would be advantageous.

An additional vehicle may be used for display purposes, subject to cost. A
luggage van would be appropriate, provided there is access between cars
(i.e. a box van is not suitable).

A suitable diesel locomotive and crews would be required, but do not
necessarily have to be provided by the same operator as the cars.

Please advise of the availability of suitable rollingstock ASAP.
Indicative costs would be helpful. Proposed tour schedules will be
available in the next few days to assist in more detailed costings.

Detailed schedules and tenders (no pun intended) will be abailable
mid-year.
