Re: [Vic] Alamein Line



The line used to extend to Huntingdale in the original days - possibly
before the golf course was there. At the northern end, the line passed under
the Ringwood line and continued through Kew to the Chandler Highway. The
bridge over the Yarra beside the APM mills was the old railway bridge - it
then connected to the Hurstbridge line at Fairfield. Check the Melways and
you can see the old alignment which is now predominately a walking reserve.
