I'd left the fax at work, so I haven't been able to re-examine till
just now. 

I've just re-checked the fax and it still *looks* like 185: however,
I've just counted 6 separate headers on the top of this page so this
is at least 6th generation fax, so I guess it could be a distorted 6,
(though other 6s and 8s on the page are clearly discernible as such).
