Yes, good morning boys and girls,
A photo of CLP14 in old AN guise greeted readers of the
Adelaide
Advertiser this morning to announce that the Adelaide - Darwin
rail
link will become a reality, work to commence in May 2000 and
is
scheduled for completion 2003.
It would appear the owner/operators of "the Asia Pacific
Transport
consortium contributing the remaining $800 million" for the
project
have got the nod, APTC being headed by US giant Brown and Root
engineering in association with Adelaide base Kinhill, rail operators
G & W, Bankers Trust, etc, etc...
It will certainly be interesting to see the activities that will crank
up
north of PA and beyond.
