Michael,

The NJs are very much alive and well on the Port Lincoln Division. I
photographed a triple-header at Kimba only last month. If you're interested,
have a look at my Eyre Peninsula web site (URL below) - there are quite a
few NJ photos in the gallery.

There was some speculation that the NJs would move to Whyalla when ASR took
over the BHP haulage contract, but this is not to be, so they should
continue in service on the PLD for quite some time yet.
