Re: RTM Tour

The tour train was through Hornsby about 1400. At Cowan it caught up to
preceeding 7SB7, which had slowed almost to a stop. The tour train was then
switched to the Up line , which is bidirectional, and overtook the freight
on the way down Cowan Bank.

Further to Tim's posting, the STN shows it as stabling at Maitland tonight
before heading up to Taree, this would hopefully suggest that they will not
use the Telerah triangle.

For any photographers in the area tomorrow morning, if 4306 is indeed
leading, it should be very nice through the Taree to Gloucester section.
Times for NL73 are Taree 0645, Bulliac 0734, Gloucester 0749-0756, Craven
0815-0825 (x 6WB3), Dungog 0908, Telerah 0953-1005 (xNT3), Maitland dep
1012, Broadmeadow 1050, Gosford 1229, Hawkesbury River 1250, Cowan 1304,
Hornsby dep 1320, Sydney arr 1405.

Finally, it was tempting to continue the running gag and describe today's
marshalling as "non elephants". But you can't really use this term for a
double ended unit, can you, even though it's a Jumbo? <grin>

Regards,

Paul
