November sightings

Some sightings from my little brother in Melbourne:	

G526 / X52 (f/v) took the 9240 down this morning (1/12).  It seems
Freight Victoria
are trying to fly the colours with these newly painted locos as I have
seen
a few over the last month.

November sightings.

Tue 30/11	X /X (f/v) / P21   behind NM at 1735.

N456/N13/N16  (8233) was broken down between NM and SKens (just under
the
Broadmeadows flyover) at 1733.  They requested a relief loco.  At 1739,
they
called in a cracked fuel line.  No relief loco had been found.  

About 5 minutes later a loco was found.  I'm unsure what it was, but
control
said that it would mean the loco would be facing the wrong way if it
went
via SKens goods line.  The driver asked whether the loco could push the
train, but was told the Met wouldn't allow a train to be pushed a great
distance, and it certainly couldn't be pushed all the way to Geelong.

N464 (ex pass yard) was sent at 1801 via the Sunshine line from NM, then
switch to Wbee line at SKens station.

N456 eventually called in a cracked fuel line, a blocked fuel filter,
and
had no amps nor power.

Sat 27/11
Took a 4 hour, 381 km Saturday drive to Ararat to see G517 and G518
looking
very sorry for themselves.
