The ballast hoppers are owned by ARTC - they will not be well pleased having
lost around 17 or 18 last year in a derailment on the Broken Hill line.
I have not been able to ascertain how east-west services were recast in SA
as a result of the derailment.
Yesterday's (Sunday) Toll service to perth looked more like a Saturday train
as far as laoding was concerned. It was at Dry Creek at 1300 hrs behind
ALF23/CLP16 (logos now applied)/CLP11 and crossed ALF18/CLP8 with 6PA4T Toll
service about half an hour later at Two Wells.
DA2/841/CK3 brought the empty Penrice train back from Port Adelaide at Dry
Creek at 1400 hrs
GM44 was at Dry Creek MPC at the head of 4 other green GMs having worked a
grain train in during the morning. 8122 (blue) and BL26 (green) were also
present.
Cheers
Mark
