what a top idea but lacks the carrages to go with it they could replace the west xpt to dubbo with this method what do you all think if they were to have the rolling stock to go with it

With Countrylink XPT's suffering increasingly from age, and maintenance demands caused by intensive scheduling and short turnaround times , does anyone want to comment on a totally wild rumour that the EL's coming to NSW are to be commissioned as replacement or spare  XPT power units ?   :-))

 

(However if they're going to Junee, that implies Austrac....)
