Evening all,

Now that the cat is out of the bag, :) I thought I should fill you all in. I
chased 2132F+2610+2600 on train 9257, ore concentrate from Yubi to
Townsville Harbour. 2132F was only used for controlling the GE's and for
extra power on the grades, if it was needed. It was very impressive. The
2600's were pulling the same tonnage (4000) that 2 x 2800's usually work.
The train consist was LTC 1848, 50 GSZY and 1 GM.  I haven't heard what the
results of the trials were. It's hard to say when the 2600's will be
transferred to Stuart. Presumably when all of Callemondah's 4000 class have
arrived, Pring will be next on the list.
I'll keep you posted.
