X33 had the dubious pleasure of
laying over at Echuca Vic from Thur 23/12 until the "fire was lit" for
it to work the 0500 hrs to Moulamein NSW & return yesterday (29/12). Echuca
had torrential rain and hail on Boxing Day but not enough to prevent the yum yum
yum immediately happening upon the press of the buttons!! No Deniliquin
NSW working by X33 yesterday afternoon (29/12) on account of the Deni Rice Mill
being closed for the festive season.
9083 Melb.- Echuca worked yesterday
(G513 + X--) arr. approx..1830-1900 hrs (usual arrival). Usual swap of the X
class occurred and G513 + X33 returned as 9084 (all containers) to Appleton Dock
last night.
X-- worked today's Moulamein &
return as usual dep. 0500 hrs (has not returned as yet at 1210 hrs) and there
should be Deniliquin loading to go ex Echuca this afternoon as usual &
returning to Echuca with limited loading by 1730 -1830 hrs.
Presumably 9083 & 9084 will work
tonight as usual and probably with G513 + fresh X class for tomorrow's roster to
Moulamein & Deni NSW.
