I have just had a look at these Silverton 48 class with the LPG bottles
strapped to the side. Makes an interesting sight but I for one would not
like to be around if the "cornered" something, collided with a large road
vehicle or lay on their sides. The bottles don't appear to have a great
deal of protection!
Any word on the success or failure of these locos on dual fuel?
