Pretty Park.exe and Loco Speedometers

I'm using Outlook express.  The delete key got rid of it (mind you I did not
open the attachment). I ran Norton anti virus and checked by emailing myself
a couple of times before sending anyone else anything and nothing was found.
Might have been different if I opened the attachment i suppose.

Can anyone tell me how loco speedos are operated in Australia.  Are they hub
driven off the axle or driven off the traction motor or do they use a radar
system etc.
Some locos here are having the hub drive removed and replaced by radar
operated speedos, which seem to be far better and not prone to 'going off
the clock" during wheel spin.
It seems strange to be checking around a loco and see the hub drive missing!
