AFAIK the planned deliveries of new rolling stock do not commence until 2001
and are over a two year period to be completed in 2003, so while the times
they are changin fast they ain't changing that fast! - Plus if you factor in
the projected patronage increases there may still be some work for the old
warhorses for a few years yet.
