The old Holmwood bridge was of timber construction. Is the replacement
also timber or is it a new bridge constructed of non - combustible
materials ....

Does anyone plan to get a photo?

According to the "Cowra Guardian" last Friday (3/12), the first train over
the just completed Holmwood Bridge (supposedly finished on 3/12) was to
occur some time today (Monday 6/12). The front page news story said the
train would be made up of 22 NDFF wagons containing ballast and a
ploughvan.
Total weight is 1720 tonnes. The news report did not indicate type or
number
of the locomotive.

Regards,
Brad
