Re: [Ausloco] Historical question

The heaviest locos were, I believe, the NSW 60 class at 263 tons. the loads
over the Blue Mountains were Penrith to Valley Heights 700 tons, Valley
Heights to Katoomba 375 tons and Katoomba to Lithgow 1100 tons. The 57s and
58s could haul 750,400 and 1100 for the same sections. On the up Lithgow to
Zig Zag 560 tons, Zig Zag to Emu Plains1050 tons, Emu Plains to Penrith 1400
tons. The 57s and 58s were 580, 1100 and 1500 tons.The 57s and 58s weighed
227 tons.
