RE: [Ausloco]8201 heading West, was 422 class progress

8201 is a present in Narromine yard shut down. I am not sure how it go here
as the two Silverton loco's are here as well which means it did not come in
on an NR cobar ore train. There has been wheat movements so it may have
worked into town on one of these. If I see it leave I shall post the result.

I have just been advised that 8201 is being sent to South Australia
tomorrow. It appears the SA based 81 class units are having some serious
problems with one unit reported to have a defective traction motor
whilst another has failed a traction motor suspension bearing. Whilst
the final agreement to send the 82s to SA has not been signed off
Freightcorp are rushing 8201 to Broken Hill tomorrow (Friday) and hope
to have it operating on the Flinders Power train next Monday.
Cheers
