It is my understanding that 42219 is indeed allocated to the RTM, but would
like confirmation from those more in the know (they know who they are!).

Regarding the "half life" wheelsets, a few years ago the RTM gave itself
less than that by grinding down the tyres on a replacement rear driving axle
for 3642 to match those already on the engine. The replacement came from
3609, so check out the difference in tyre sizes on 3609 next time you're
there and see what I mean.
