Well if you NSW gunzels have not got enough of
our Victorian engines, you should be getting a Y class soon. one of the Clyde
Engineering owned Y class located at Newport workshops will be heading up to
cardiff workshops. Not sure of the exact number as I have heard both numbers
mentioned, but Y136 was mentioned by someone who works at Newport ws, while the
other Y (Y134) was mentioned by another. It is also apparently going to be road
hauled up.
Also further to the post regarding the N class
on fire at Moe. Last night a light engine went past on the up at 23.08, but as i
thought it was just the up Morwell freight I didn't bother to look until I
realized a light engine.
