RE: [Ausloco] Fw: Re "Crrrrash at Curr Road"



At Tongala, and all the other PCR crossings on this unusual 40 kph
speed limit track, the crossings have signs only and no electric
flashing lights or bells ringing. Hence stupido hero truck driver
driving through heavy fog with windows wound up and music playing could
not see or hear freight train. One collision, track spreads, one G
class on its side.

I would have thaught that by being on a level crossing at the same time
as
a train you are breaking the law, by either not giving way or not
stopping.
