Hi Everybody
Just one point I failed to mention last
time
The 81 class cab tends to give you a better
"feel" of how the train is handling.
The 82 class can be a bit deceptive in this
regard due to the fact that they are so well insulated against road/engine
noise. The Wabco brake valve also differs to conventional brake valves and takes
a bit of getting used to. I would guess the 90 and NR class loco's are the same
in this regard. I have only been in a NR class cab once at Goobang Junction and
was very impressed, not to mention jeaulous.
After the kind Junee driver showed me over
the engine/cab I hoped back onto our little old 48er. Ahh
well!!!!
These are only my opinions and will most
certainly differ from others - i'm sure of that.
Regards
Dave
