While not strictly 'on topic', I would personally like to thank Peter for 
his coverage of Alice Springs over the past six weeks. It has been an 
rare (and valuable) insight into what is going on up there, at a time 
when things MAY be about to change forever (in railway terms). Not to 
mention that it was all done in some pretty crazy weather, in conditions 
that could indeed send one 'troppo'. If there was an 'applause' symbol in 
email, I would propose a vote of thanks by acclaimation to Peter for his 
work.
