Re: [Ausloco] V/Line engines working in South Australia and reverse....

Hi Craig

many back issues of Catchpoint have reported on the doings of 930s in
Victoria. They seem to have been most used on Geelong passengers, but other
workings were also reasonably common.

As Mark Carter says, AN were indebted to V/Line for making so many units
available for the Melb-Adelaide superfreighters and would have been OK about
V/Line using their power when it was laying over in Melbourne. Conversely,
AN were probably less likely to use V/Line power on their trains as this
would have increased their indebtedness. Also, there are far fewer short
day runs around Adelaide than Melbourne.

Cheers

Ben
