Re: [Ausloco] repaired locos
523 at South Dynon with 16-645-F3B being fitted now, due out within a few weeks following repaint.
39 at Newport for repaint to FA green. Due out anytime..
38 Stored, as body shell only in Shaws siding. Plans have been drawn up for this unit to get a TC 16-645-E3C PM. It involves a modification similar to X 49, with an extended long end to house a dynamic brake grid. A toilet unit may
be fitted just to the rear of the cab.
I believe the motors from G 517 and G 518 were beyond repair.
