AFAIK when Stock is cut out (if it can be) it is when there are no trains
around, if not the crew can work themselves through as with all staff
stations to between Stock and Parkes. If it can't be cut out the box has to
be manned for crews to get the staff out of the instruments at either side
of Stock.
