Today's GHAN has just departed Alice Springs behind Trailerail-liveried
NR54.

There is a green DL sitting in the yard - I'll try and see the number
later today if I can - it's been there all week (for shunting, I
assume), as is normal.

A freight arrived yesterday afternoon, around 1640 Central Standard time
- about 2.5-3 hours early, by my reckoning.  We're not on daylight
savings up here,which could pose problems for me photographing evening
arrivals, but will help with the morning departures.  Single orange/grey
NR - number unsighted - with 60' container flats, a few 2-pack and
5-packs, a couple of open wagons with containers, and about 20-odd tank
wagons bringing up the rear.  I didn't note whether any 5-pack well sets
were present.

There's quite a few ex-V/Line VMBX (now RMBX?) 2-tiered motorail wagons
present in the yard also, with National Rail plates fitted to the sides:
