A nice warm Alice Springs greeting to everyone!

Correct.  Friday morning's arrival into Orange is about 5.45-6am-ish;
loco runs around the cars and the train departs around 6.15am or so.  I
suppose if a loco change was needed, the replacement would just drop on
the back after arrival, but I can't see Countrylink holding a loco or
two at Orange for a couple of days.  There would certainly not be time
to refuel.  I'm now on my Alice Springs stint (reports to start flowing
early next week), so I wasn't around to see what this week's Broken Hill
pass arrangements were.  If the issue is still up in the air by early
March, I'll try and confirm what happens on my return to Orange.
