Hello

I've heard various suggestions that The Overland be replaced by fast 
railcars over the years, with one option being detaching a car at Wolsely to 
run to Mt Gambier.  Has a Bluebird or similar modern railcar ever done the 
Melb-Adelaide run ? How did it perform ?

One wonders how much of a future an overnight train has on this run.  How 
long does it take to drive Melb-Adelaide anyway ?  About seven hours ?
