The Extra 2000 Up pass ex Ballarat was 3 Sprinters and was well loaded.

Departing trains ran at just past 1, 2 and 4 am on all lines. EG Ballarat
trains were 0120, 0215, 0415.

The platform lights on platfoms 5 & 6 went out at 0100 and came back on at 0110.
The 0115 Bendigo was announced as the 1310 Bendigo and had 7 or 8 N cars.
The 0120 Ballarat had N455 and 4 very, very full H cars. About 100 people
per car and 30-odd left behind. Many standees as far as Bacchus Marsh.
Y 163 worked the pass yard pilot.
