Watch the depatures just after 0200 from the window of
our room in the Savoy Plaza Hotel; my wife and I
attended a wonderful function there last night. Very
well loaded trains to Kyneton (N and H set) and
Ballarat (Sprinters). Y class was shunting and very
well loaded Bayside and Hillside suburban sets.
Steamrail special arrived from Macedon in the middle
of all this. First time trains had been scheduled to
run throughout the night in Melbourne?
