I also have a photo of X45, it was leading 44215 on S2 Southern Aurora at Spaniard's Hill on 19/5/83.

    Roger, are you sure X45 was on SG,I would have to say i never saw it,and
it is a bit distinctive by the position of the number plate,even from a
distance,but in my younger days i did not see X45 on SG through this period.

    Yes. I have photographic evidence of all the X class quoted.
