Bob
The X class involved in thru working between Nov 82 and Aug 83 were X45,
X46, X47, X51, X52, X53 and X54.
X50 was involved in crew training only during May 1982 but was switched to
Broad Gauge shortly afterwards.
The tricky one of course was X37 which slipped in and out of Sydney as a
second unit for wheel lathe attention in the late 1980s (?1988) - can't find
it in my running book at the moment.
