No confusion what-so-ever.   4812 was specifically vested with Freight Rail
Corporation as at the date of the split-up of the old State Rail Authority on
1/7/1996.
Other Mark-1 48 class vested to FRC were 4804/06/09/18/23/28/30/35/37/41/42.
4819/27/32/34 were vested with Rail Services Australia.   All other  Mark-1 48s
(obviously excluding those previously sold to Austrac, etc.) were vested with
the new State Rail Authority
