Veteran electric loco 4638 was on time this evening
through Hornsby at 1803 with Special NE72, the RTM's Rail & Sail Tour from
Newcastle. Consist was the end platform DUB Set 63 + VHO.
The train worked through Number 1 platform and
proceeded to the Up Shore, somehow obtaining a path between normal suburbans and
rerouted Intercity services, as the Main North via Epping is closed for
trackwork.
