NR53 ran 3LA6N this morning, with about half of the 72 wagons which had
arrived in town on Saturday evening.

NR104 has arrived with the Ghan, and is currently fuelling (1100-1130)
prior to turning and dropping on the other end.  Load is 15 carriages
and 2 motorails.

I've had a few queries re. the Ghan preservation group, so have rung
them for more info.  They plan more steam trips this year than last, but
as with most groups, crewing is always a problem.  Normal services are
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings - I believe this may only be the
"short trip" - about half-way along the line.  Additional services,
including the evening dinner trip, are run as booked by tour groups.  A
big weekend is planned over Easter.
