Aus loco discussion mailing list
Afternoon all,
A quick note to say a big thanks to all those that have so provided
information about South Australian big wheel action next week. My friends,
who are currently winding their way westwards in 40+ temp will be
appreciative of the info that I'll fax/dictate via mobile to them at the
hotel this weekend. The info will no doubt be studied in close detail over a
couple of glasses of South Australia's finest grape.
This sort of support and information sharing really what makes Ausloco miles
apart from perhaps a forum like aus.rail. Since I have subscribed I have
certainly picked up lots more information on the why's, wherefore's and what
have you's on the fascinating railway scene in Australia.
I think from time to time I have probably stepped outside the boundaries of
acceptable material on Ausloco - mainly questions concerning rollingstock. I
would be very interested in perhaps starting a similar mailing list for
railway rollingstock of all types ... wagons, carriages, EMU, DMU and the
like.
Thanks Patrick for all your hard work and endless patience.
Regards
Steven
Melbourne
