Hi all,

Sorry about not having any postings for a while due to work and other
commitments. Here are the workings for 28/4.
5MA3 Patricks with CLP8/GM32/GM45/CLF4.
6539/6720 Stonie with 706/CK3.
6236 Loongana lime with ALF23 due to both CLP9 and GM37 failing quite badly.
6115/7114 Bowmans grain with GM1/961 ex Dry Creek 2000hrs.
6171 yes not a 161 for some reason with GM47/GM46/603/704. Returning with
704/603/GM46/GM47/GM43.
The following trains went through Belair.
6AM4 TOLL with G530 hauling 7 loaded and and 44 empty platforms =51.
It took one hour from Goodwood to Belair and 1hr27min from Belair to
Mt.Lofty. A distance of only 9.5km but a grade of 1 in 45.
Goodwood 1644, Belair 1744, Mt.Lofty 1911.
2019, 6AB6 with NR79/NR35/DL38 and 68 platforms.
2059, 6AM8 The Overland with BL27 and 11 vehicles.
2206, 6AM3 Patricks with CLP8/GM43/GM34/GM40/CLP12 and 40 wagons.
Other problems over the last few weeks were:
20/4: G520 slipped to a stand just short of Mt.Lofty working 5MA2. It was
rescued by GM44 working light engine to Tailem Bend.
25/4: 3161 Grain with
703(idling)/704(powering)/705(powering)/603(idling)/607(idling). 704/705
flamed nicely powering up through Belair. 705 had about two foot of flame
out the exhaust stack.
26/4: GM43/838/847 worked 4226/4225 light engine test run to Two Wells.
26/4: NR94/NR52/DL43 worked 4AM5 with 72 platforms. NR52 failed at Belair
with ground relays. It ended up leaving with two traction motors cut out.

Well thats all from me today.

Cheers,

Justin Cheary
